A blanket of ice covers strawberries in Plant City, Fla. Temperatures in the area dipped into the mid-20s, and farmers there have sprayed their strawberries with water to protect them from the cold in an effort to prevent millions of dollars' worth of losses. The water freezes and forms a protective igloo that keeps the fruit from being ruined.
