The songs are rough renditions, often first takes that document what happened over the course of a day as opposed to a polished rendering. Beck’s band the Record Club has been making some great covers. This one of the classic song Need You Tonight by INXS. The beautiful vocalist is Annie Clarke of St. Vincent fame. My heart goes pitter patter.
